The eText Program is a way that students get access to their digital textbooks in certain programs. If a course is delivered under the eText program, students automatically pay for their textbooks as part of their course fees, and can access the text through a link that you add to the course.

If your course is part of the eText program, you will need to add the link manually to the Content area of your eConestoga course.

  1. Go to the Content area of your course, and open the Course Information folder.
  2. At the top of the folder, click Existing Activities -> External Learning Tools.
  3. Scroll down the list of available links, and click on VitalSource - Inclusive Access.

The standard Vitalsource link should appear at the bottom of your Course Information folder.

If you have any questions about the eText program, or if you aren’t sure whether or not your course should have an eText link, contact the book store at eText@conestogac.on.ca for assistance.
