The Quick Eval dashboard gives instructors a summary of new and ungraded student submissions across their courses.

Accessing the Quick Eval Dashboard

The Quick Eval Dashboard is available in two locations:

  • On the main eConestoga homepage, by clicking Quick Eval in the navbar at the top of the screen.
  • Inside each course you teach, by clicking Course Admin -> Quick Eval.
The Quick Eval dashboard's Submissions view. A table with student names in the first column, assignment names in the second, course names in the third, and submission dates in the fourth. Student submissions to assignments and quizzes in multiple courses are shown in order of date received.

The default view for the Quick Eval dashboard shows you individual submissions made by your students to Quizzes, Discussions, and Assignment Submission Folders that have not yet been graded. Clicking on any student's name will take you to the grading screen for that submission.

You can use the Filter option at the top right to restrict the view to only specific students, specific assessments, or specific date ranges.

The Activities view. A heading for each course, with a horizontal block for each assessment in that course. Each block shows the assessment name, the due date, and rates of how many students submitted, how many of those submissions are evaluated by the instructor, and how many are published back to the student.

If you click the Activities option at the top, the view will change to show you each assessment in each of your courses, accompanied by "progress bars" that show student completion rates for each one.

If you hover over any assignment, you will be presented with options to jump to the grading screen for that assignment, set all of your entered feedback as "Published", or dismiss that assignment from the Quick Eval tool until a later date.
