Many courses include Quizzes, Tests, and Exams to assess student understanding of the course's material.

Most quizzes will be available only during a specific window of time, and the amount of time that you can spend writing the quiz will also usually be limited. Make sure that you check the timing settings of your quizzes before writing them!

Write a Quiz

  1. Go to Course Tools -> Quizzes.
  2. Locate the Quiz that you wish to write and click on its title.
  3. You will be taken to a screen that lists the instructions and settings for that Quiz. When you are ready to begin, click Start Quiz! at the bottom of the screen.

Viewing Quiz Results

Depending on how your instructor has set it up, you might be able to view your quiz score immediately after submitting it, or you might have to wait for your instructor to grade the quiz first. To access your quiz score after it is available:

  1. Go to Course Tools -> Quizzes.
  2. The quizzes in your course will be listed in a table. Beside the titles of the quizzes is a column titled Evaluation Status. If your quiz feedback is available, click Feedback: On Attempt beside the title of that quiz.

You will be taken to a screen that lists the date you completed the quiz, as well as your score.
